Exciting times for Sandy as he looks towards the Rotax World Kart Finals

14th November 2014

Sandy has had two great race weekends at Whilton Mill and Kimbolton in the lead up to the Rotax World Finals in Valencia. In his first outing since winning the British Junior Max Championship Sandy had three excellent heat finishes (including a win)at Whilton Mill which gave him pole for the final but after damaging his ribs Sandy had to accept it would be best in the long run not to race in the final on this occasion.

Sandy was back out racing again at Kimbolton on the 9th of November this time on the Sodi Kart in preparation for the Rotax World Finals. In a very entertaining and close fought final Sandy finished 2nd overall and gained some valuable seat time in the Sodi kart in what was very mixed track conditions.

Sandy now turns his attentions to the World Rotax Finals to be held in Valencia from Sunday 23rd November. This will be a fantastic week of karting for Sandy with a different type of kart and on a circuit that he has never been to. There will be 72 karters in the Junior Rotax class.

Sandy: "I have had two excellent race weekends in the lead up to the Rotax Finals, I can't wait to head out to Valencia on the 23rd. This will be a fantastic experience for me. Hopefully the sun will be shining!!"
