Having graduated with a 2:1 degree in English Literature from Lancaster University, where I Captained the BUSA Equestrian Team, I moved to Highgate, London to live with four of my closest pals. There I embarked on a Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism and on graduating I secured my first job at ITN, where I cut my teeth as a reporter and presenter on 5 News and the ITN Newschannel.

My parents trained a few racehorses on their farm in East Sussex, so growing up I spent most of my spare time exercising their horses, hunting, competing and going racing of course!

The other side of my family is obsessed with the other kind of horsepower, cars. In fact, my brother is one of the best young drivers in the country and whilst competing in GP2, he is also the 3rd driver for the Mercedes Formula One Team. Following his career has not only given me great pleasure but also the opportunity to report on motor racing.

My experience of live and unscripted broadcasts on the Winning Post and at Royal Ascot for Sky Sports, has taught me to be confident and composed under pressure and to expect the unexpected. I love the challenge of entertaining a large audience and am really looking forward to co-hosting the October Club Dinner at the Savoy again this year, the Animal Health Trust Awards at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in November and Exeter Racecourses' Cheltenham Festival preview night in February.

As well as Sport, I also have a passion for fashion and food and would love to report on both in the future. In the run up to Royal Ascot I was approached by Milliner Dawn Guibert who asked me to be one of her muses and I'm delighted to say that I will be wearing her creations at all of the prestigious race meetings in the future, lucky me!
