Chris Imola bound...

Chris heads out to Imola, Italy this weekend to take part in the 2nd round of the Italian Clio Championship.

Chris - who took part in the last two rounds of The British Touring Car Championship last year - failed to get the budget together to do a full season in the BTCC this year, and has decided in the meantime, to broaden his racing experience with taking part in several Clio races in Europe over the forth coming months.

"It’s really a different type of driving" Chris said, "the tracks are much bigger, wider and faster than at home, and with grids of over 40 cars its bound to be full of action and very exciting. I have raced in Europe before in Karts and that was pretty much the same. I’m hoping the whole experience will make me a more compete driver and will lead to a Touring Car drive next year. I would like to thank all my existing sponsors in particular EMDD, who despite not getting the television coverage that comes with Touring Cars, have agreed to continue their support for this year."
